Mohammed Bin Salih

Ameer & Missionary In-charge

Maulana Noor Mohammed bin Salih, is a distinguished missionary who completed extensive academic training in both Ghana and Pakistan. He holds several qualifications, including a Master’s degree (Shahid) in jurisprudence and theology from Jamia Ahmadiyya, Rabwah, Pakistan, and diplomas in comparative study of religion and administration.

His career includes significant roles such as the Naib Ameer (Deputy Head) of the community in Ghana overseeing finance and administration from 1985to 2014. He was also appointed as the Ameer (Head) and Missionary In-charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Zimbabwe from 1978 to 1982 and in Ghana from 2014 to date. He has also held influential positions on various boards such as being member of the Peace Council of Ghana since 2016 and serving on the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into the Creation of New Regions in Ghana. He is also a member of the Eminent Advisory Committee to the Electoral Commission of Ghana.

Additionally, he is a key figure in inter-Islamic cooperation,  contributing to the National Hilal Committee and serving on Ghana's Peace Council, further enhancing his impact within the community and beyond.
